iPhone Application Development and iPhone Game Development The Thundering Field

iPhone Application Development and iPhone Game Development is so far the most interesting development in the mobile application development field and has changed the way we have looked and worked with app development and designing. With good user interface and coding prefixes we are at the stage of the beginning of totally new era of programming and designing Apps and Games. If you look at the basic SDK which was release in 2008 and the SDK which we use right now (4.3), it has been dramatically improved. iPhone Application Development and iPhone Game Development has not as same as what we used to deal with last year.

There has been lot of change on the technical point of view for the developers, in iPhone Application Development. One of the major differences now we can see is the speed of the user interface and more systematic approach to the file management and coding methodology. There are many other improvements which apple has done and also not to forget making multitasking available for apps has really given wings to iPhone Application Development. Development of business apps, apps for children, utility apps etc. can be widely covered by the base SDK itself and most of the time there is no need for using any external APIs.

iPhone Game Development on the other hand has also got some new things to play with. As we know iPhone Game Development can not only be done using base SDK, especially for complex game and graphics. We need engines like Coco2D and Unity for better lookout and smooth play. The Good news for all the game development community is Cocos3D has been launched and is getting updated while I am writing this article, it might be in initial stages but we believe it will make much difference compare to developing games in Unity 3D which on the other has is bit costly considering the game development requirements.

As we are near the launch of iOS 5 which is in its 5th beta release, we expect there will be many more things on the platter then what we see right now on Apple’s website. iPhone Application Development and iPhone Game Development has changed the way we have programmed, designed and scaled our level of mobile app development and estimated mobile computing future. With iPhone 5 look and feel rumors in air, one can smell the thunder coming right to us, like Apple throwing updates to developers and saying... “Let’s see what you can do with that ....”
